I first developed my interest in flooring whilst doing Saturday and part time work in my teens for a local carpet sales business. On leaving school, I began my career working for a company called Carpet Style in Arnold, Nottingham. This enabled me to gain valuable experience and complete a wide variety of training from early age.
From there, this gave me the impetus and confidence for me to become self-employed, and there NB Flooring was born! Over the years since, NB Flooring has sub-contracted for many different flooring retailers in and around the East Midlands area. This allowed me to build the business and cement a reputation for quality and professionalism with both clients and suppliers alike.
All the businesses I have worked with have both benefited from and recognised the dedication I bring to the job, the benefit to their clients and, inturn, the benefits to their businesses. This level of high standards and an insistance on a quality finish, as well as providing an excellent customer service experience on their behalf have proved hugely benefical to them. I have always seen this as essentail to the job I do and service I aim to provide to clients, wether it be a small spare bedroom or a huge 1000 foot office space, they are as equally important to me and require the same level of dedication. I have achieved this whilst working for variety of types of businesses from small local carpet shops to larger, reputable stores with national reputations, such as Hopewells of Nottingham. I have worked closely with Hopewells specifically for nearly a decade now, which has further diversified the types and style of flooring I have direct hands on experience in fitting. My overriding ethos is that no job is ever too small or too big and the I endeavour to help clients realise the vision they have for their home or business. I pride myself on customer satisfaction and I am always happy to help, from the very start to the end of any project.
